The Client Services Director will have either senior management experience or consultancy experience, preferably both, with a proven track record for developing Clients, nurturing relationships and converting opportunities. 

As Client Services Director you will be responsible for:

  • Developing effective growth strategies of key clients
  • Managing the opportunities for existing Clients
  • Managing and developing key client relationships
  • Collaborate and contributes to all prospective tenders and opportunities.
  • Contributes to the development of best practice principles in conjunction with the HH group.
  • Working with all Country Managers to ensure their client activities are fruitful, compliant and effective.
  • Working with the Operations Team to ensure all process and supporting tools are employed to deliver to our contract requirements.
  • Analyse regional activity reports generated to understand the ground level of activity of note. Promote the positive, evolve the negative. 
  • Diligently look for non compliance activities and address accordingly.
  • Actively seek and source innovation from internal and external connections to deliver into the regional accounts.

You will be responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of communication with existing clients and developing relationships and ways of working with clients. You will be coordinating and liaising with the global team to deliver your objectives.

You will be a confident ‘self starter’ with excellent communication, relationship building and organisational skills. Strong Client facing and presentation skills are essential as is a strategic brain and the ability to question the norm and look outside the box.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Authority on key account and commercial opportunities
  • Meeting with client senior stakeholders and implement commercial & process improvement plans. 
  • Proactively finds opportunity by looking for the best way of maximizing delivery for the client and driving this opportunity forward.
  • Assess our ‘’Star Employees’’ for promotion and greater responsibilities for the business. Train and Nurture their abilities to empower and grow confidence in them.
  • Look for opportunities for star employees to transition into greater roles.
  • Working with internal creative and client services teams, country managers and global account teams to deliver the best solutions. The Head of Client Services will have the ability to influence client thinking to produce outstanding results.
  • Working with the Operational team to create and instigate better process and efficiencies to deliver our services.
  • Maintain the Company’s high profile and reputation in delivery and develop an excellent reputation for development and promoting the Company’s unique skillset and ability.
  • Attending WIPs and meetings (Regional / Global) and taking / influencing key briefs from clients showing a clear understanding of requirements and cascade to local teams. 
  • Deliver excellent service to client with a professional ‘can do’ attitude at all times.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key contacts / clients.
  • Understand ad report what is happening in the global competitive market to ensure HHG are top of game.
  • Some travel will be required based on particular needs at the time.

Skills, Knowledge, & Experience:

  • Strong negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with internal customers, stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to understand current/changing business strategy, participation in delivering it.
  • Has built credible customer relationships at senior level.
  • Can identify business issues and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Sound understanding of Marketing Services concepts.
  • This individual also needs to be a strong leader who can focus on the vision and strategies of the group while managing the tactical components of running the daily business. Balance daily support needs with long-term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective plans.
  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Exceptional communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to present convincingly to a senior audience.
  • Demonstrated expertise using written & verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Sound financial reporting and forecasting experience
