Primary Goal:
We seek a driven and experienced Mortgage/Finance Broker to join our team in Melbourne. Your primary goal is to provide exceptional mortgage and finance solutions to our clients, helping them navigate the complexities of the financial landscape to achieve their goals across a range of different lending products, from home loans to business loans.
What You'll Achieve:
Client Satisfaction: Achieve a Net promoter score of 80% (NPS) or higher by delivering personalized, effective mortgage and finance solutions.
Loan Approval Rate: Maintain a 90% or higher loan approval rate by ensuring accurate and complete application submissions and strong lender negotiations.
Business Growth: $30,000,000 in new client acquisitions through lead conversion, client referrals, and professional networking.
Client Retention: Achieve a run-off rate of less than 5% for existing clients' portfolios.
What You Bring:
Relationship Building Skills: Develop strong, trusting relationships with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders.
Market Expertise: Stay updated on the latest market trends, lender products, and regulatory changes to provide informed and current advice.
Communication Skills: Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills to ensure clients can always understand you and feel comfortable with the information you relay to them.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Utilize strong analytical skills to assess clients' financial situations and solve their lending requirements.
About You:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a loan writer in Australia.
Proven track record of successful loan approvals and client satisfaction.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
Highly organised and detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
Deep understanding of the Australian mortgage and finance industry, including market trends and regulatory requirements.
Commitment to continuous professional development and ethical standards.

Dedicated Broker Support: Help prepare all your loan applications and follow up with lenders and stakeholders, providing you with the information to communicate with clients and spend time building relationships.
Tiered Commission split: All self-generated leads through your relationships and professional partners will mean you can earn additional income to your base through upfront and trailing commissions. The first $0-$10M 25%/25% (Upfront/Trail), then loans settled between $10M-$20M 30%/25%, then loans settled between $20-$30M 35%/30% and all loans settled above $30M will be 45%/30%
