Role Overview
Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, this FP&A Analyst will be responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process. You will be responsible for supporting the Senior Business Analyst's financial planning and analysis process and contributing to the cash flow forecasting.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious and qualified analyst who wants to operate within a supportive and fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, prepare and analyse financial statements, and conduct variance analysis to monitor financial performance.
- Collaborate on strategic plans, provide financial insights for decision-making, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to provide financial guidance.
- Utilise financial software for enhanced reporting and analysis, and seek process improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide commentary on financial reporting on budgets and forecasts including the communicating the risks and assumptions considered.
- Assist with the preparation of business cases for investment decisions.

This role requires a professional who excels in organisational, time management, and prioritization skills, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in meeting deadlines. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to construct persuasive presentations and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders. A highly developed attention to detail is crucial for precision in financial reporting and compliance. Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential for performing complex financial modeling and analysis.
