Established in 2013, Rice Paper Scissors is one of Melbourne’s premier modern Southeast Asian eateries, operating two venues and an elegant function space. We emphasise delivering an exceptional experience through the quality of our food, service, and environment.

The Role:
As General Manager, you will:
- Inspire and build your team's skills through innovation and creativity
- Systemise and continuously improve business operations
- Collaborate with owners on growth and strategic initiatives
- Drive team development and create future leaders within the company and the industry
- Ensure exceptional service and consistent quality for our customers
What We’re Looking For:
- A hands-on leader with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role with proven success managing and growing small to medium-sized venues
- A high level of personal organisation and accountability
- Strong understanding of financial control systems, leadership, recruitment, and training in hospitality environments
- Ability to foresee challenges and create cost-effective solutions
- Passion for industry innovation and maintaining high standards of service
- Excellent communication, negotiation and coaching skills to effectively lead, motivate, and engage with team members, suppliers, customers and industry professionals
