We are looking for an experienced and passionate Project Management Consultant to join our Sydney Hub to support a diverse range of projects and industry leading clients.
As an MIGSO-PCUBED Project Management Consultant, you will play a pivotal functional and advisory role in the successful execution of our clients projects by creating, developing and maintaining large-scale schedulers. Working closely within a team of MP Consultants, you will utilize your expertise in project scheduling software, particularly Primavera (P6), to ensure efficient cost control, planning, scheduling and execution of projects. You analytical skills will be instrumental in assessing and managing risks and issues, contributing to robust project governance, financial control and scope management.
As an MP Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work across diverse sectors to manage diverse projects and support programs of work.
- Deliver within complex client engagements and aid MP team leadership with client relationship management
- Support the engagement lead to build our footprint within a client or multiple clients, while taking advantage of a diverse range of professional development opportunities
- Ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of key client initiatives.
About the job
In this role you will provide Project Management services scheduling, planning, scope control, risk management, leadership and stakeholder management to Development and Implementation of Technology Projects Methodologies projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify project categories and systematically determine the appropriate methodology.
- Offering a comprehensive perspective on methodologies, consulting on work methodologies and leading workshops.
- Design, deliver and implement project specific methodologies; Prince 2 and Agile frameworks.
- Provide end to end Project Management expertise and support to project lead across the program.
- Engaging with stakeholders and document and meet their requirements.
WHO ARE YOU?
You will have experience providing Project Management services across multiple projects within a fast-paced environment. Your ability to work with collaboratively with project teams along with your knowledge of Project Management tools and methods, will enable your success in this role. Your attention to detail and proactivity are evident at all times.
Skills required
- Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.
- Ability to work as an effective team member as well as an energetic individual.
- Ability to execute tasks independently with minimal guidance.
- Organisational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office products.
- Ability to work to tight timeframes in a complex and demanding environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Finance or related fields
- Prince 2 & Agile certificates
- Experience in a program environment in a large global organisation.
- Experience using MS Project.
