Working alongside our parent company Healthcare Australia, HCA Education is a registered training organisation and has been delivering training and vocational services across all states for over 25 years. Over this time HCA Education has established itself as a proven provider of quality industry training, specialising in the Aged Care, Disability and Health Services sectors.
The Opportunity and about the role:
This position requires a sound understanding of the Vocational Education and Training sector both from a regulatory perspective and in terms of different aspects of the business including Marketing, Curriculum, Administration and Qualification management. The position has two objectives:
- a) Assisting the Quality and Administration Manager, to ensure the overall compliance of the RTO relating to Standards for RTO’s 2015 and all current funding contracts,
- b) Administration tasks including student enrolment, student data and records, and student services.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Conduct internal audits, compliance monitoring and checks in line with the Compliance Calendar.
- Assist the Quality and Administration Manager to ensure EmployEase remains complaint in all aspects and sectors of the business including its operational and reporting requirements.
- Assist the Quality and Administration Manager to maintain the Continuous Improvement Registers.
- Assist the Quality and Administration Manager to maintain trainer qualifications process and register
- Coordinate Validation sessions and outcomes in line with the Validation Schedule
- Process Student enrolments, deferrals, withdrawals and completions
- Provide customer service to students
- Provide general administrative advice and support to Staff in the Education Operations and use of VETtrak as the RTO’s primary Student Management System
- Generate reports from VETtrak as required
- Provide VETtrak training as required
What you will bring to the role:
- Solid knowledge of the VET industry.
- Sound knowledge of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015 and current VET funding requirements both in Victoria and in other States.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to priorities competing tasks within tight timelines.
- Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Google Docs, PowerPoint
- Demonstrated knowledge of VETtrak (data entry and reports)
- The ability to identify a need and offer practical solutions.
- Preferred – TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
