The Opportunity:

Join the dynamic Seven Canberra Team and embark on an exciting new career opportunity We are currently seeking a dedicated News Director's Assistant to collaborate across our regional markets. This role presents an ideal entry level position to begin your career.

Based in Canberra and reporting to the Studio Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the studio pre-production and presentation of Seven News Programs
• Liaise with necessary departments on a regular basis
• Prepare all material and content for broadcast under the direction of News Department.
• Ensure cleanliness, tidiness and general upkeep of all studio equipment
• Quality control and assisting in the day-to-day production aspects

You will need:

• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to develop effective business relationships
• Great organisational skills, proactiveness and the ability to adhere to tight deadlines
• Adaptable and able operate in a fast-paced environment
• To be tech-savvy
• Strong attention to detail balanced with excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
