Networks & Systems Administration (Information & Communication Technology)

Our Client, a leading Australian owned managed services provider, has an opportunity for a Client Solutions Lead (Networking). This would be similar to a Networking Team Lead role in that you would be responsible for managing a team of Network & Security Engineers.

Additionally, you will ensure the continuity and availability of services provided to customers and be empowered to set standards around testing, integration, deployment, transition, go-live and operational tasks.

Key responsibilities:
 

  • lead the implementation of policies, procedures for fault logging and operational support ensuring these are maintained
  • knowledge sharing within the practice and across practices
  • deliver integrated managed solutions and work closely with other teams (e.g. product management, sales, architecture, support etc)
  • ensure all systems are maintained in accordance with Company Information Security Policies
  • regular reporting
  • develop automation for the management of technical platforms
  • conducting system audits
  • taking the leadership on major projects
  • being responsible for the transition into operations
  • maintain and upgrade hosted environments
  • coach and mentor engineers – manage workloads, performance, career development etc
 
Skills & experience required:
 
  • experience in a senior networking or team lead role ideally within a managed services environment
  • security solutions – Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Fortinet
  • SD-WAN – Cisco, Viptela
  • Load balancing – F5, Netscaler
  • VPN and Identity Management
  • Network Monitoring and troubleshooting – OpenManager
  • Automation experience
  • Experience working in financial services would be ideal
  • Must have unrestricted working rights – i.e. citizenship or permanent residency
