The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) is a not for profit, membership-based organisation leading the way in surgical performance, professionalism and patient care in Australia and New Zealand.

With service to our members at the forefront of our business, we support ongoing learning and development for our surgical workforce of more than 7,000 surgeons and 1,300 surgical trainees and Specialist International Medical Graduates.

We are focusing on collaboration and innovation to better serve our members and to enhance the contribution of surgeons to the community.

About the role

You will coordinate and support the effective development of RACS’s prevocational resources and initiatives including the JDocs framework, website, ePortfolio and eLearning platform, and promote these resources and initiatives to generate increased visibility and usage. This is a part time role – 0.6 FTE and the location is flexible.

Key responsibilities include:
• Providing technical and administrative support for JDocs website (Drupal), framework and ePortfolio
• Providing administrative support for eLearning platform (Moodle LMS), including eLearning helpdesk
• Providing administration support to JDocs paid subscribers
• Coordinating timelines, processes, communications and documentation to support the delivery of all RACS prevocational and JDocs related activities
• Coordinating States Territory and New Zealand Offices (STANZ) to develop, support and promote RACS prevocational initiatives.

Skills and experience
• Experience in customer service
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise a diverse workload and multi-task with a strong ability to manage conflicting deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to confidently communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Adaptable to new tasks, processes and able to learn systems quickly
• Experience with Moodle LMS and Drupal is desirable, but not essential.
