We have an amazing opportunity for a full-time People & Culture Coordinator to join the Shared Services Team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in People & Culture and is seeking a supportive environment in which to grow. It offers the opportunity to learn and grow while supporting both people leaders and employees in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for general P&C inquiries, compliance, reporting, and administrative tasks.

As well as running elite horse racing at Caulfield, Sportsbet Sandown and Mornington Racecourses, we own 14 pub venues under the Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG).

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Be the first point of contact on general P&C queries.
  • Coordinating administration of recruitment activities, managing correspondence, and generating contracts.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to generate advertisements and track recruitment volumes.
  • Manage P&C systems and databases for data accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, included but not limited to work rights, police checks and compliance training.
  • Coordinate and undertake auditing of employee files and processing all P&C data entry.
  • Support the wider Shared Services team to deliver all aspects of the employee life cycle.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within an HR/administration/office-based role.
  • Formal qualification in Human Resources or related fields (desirable not essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and show initiative.
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Strong computer skills – proficient in using Microsoft suite, specifically Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
