We have anopportunity for a full-time People & Culture Co-ordinator tojoin our national People & Culture team based inMelbourne.
Our nationalPeople & Culture team has approximately 22 people in the teamcovering talent acquisition, generalist, diversity, inclusion &wellbeing and learning & development.
Keyresponsibilities
Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for:
- providing generaladministrative support to the team including phone answering& message, updating documents, handling basic enquiries,e-filing, paying invoices, travel arrangements, processingexpenses;
- co-ordinating logisticsin relation to people movements (new starters, departures,transfers, parental leave comings and goings, promotions)– including generating relevant checklists and carryingout allocated responsibilities;
- preparing correspondenceincluding employment agreements and other letters,memo’s, emails as requested by People & Culture teammembers;
- ensuringthat all relevant payroll information is provided toPayroll;
- providing support to thePeople & Culture team (including the Talent Acquisitionteam) in relation to recruitment activities, including takingrole briefs from internal stakeholders, developing positiondescriptions, drafting job advertisements, setting up roles inBig Red Sky (the firm’s current applicant trackingsystem) and other job boards, reviewing and screeningapplications, organising and coordinating interviews, andconducting reference checks;
- co-ordinating thefirm’s work experience program;
- co-ordinating annualpractising certificate and membership renewals;
- co-ordinating employeebirthdays and anniversaries, including assisting with draftinganniversary communications when required;
- assisting with People& Culture processes including performance reviews andremuneration reviews;
- workingwith Office Managers and the Operations team to ensure the firmis equipped with first aid officers, keeping records up to dateand organising the relevant training;
- assisting with planningand coordination of health and well-beinginitiatives;
- providing support to theother People & Culture Co-ordinator when required;and
- other adhoc administrative tasks when required.
Skills andexperience
We would liketo hear from candidates with the following skills andexperience:
- 12months experience in a similar role (ideally in professionalservices) preferred but not essential;
- clientservice focus (internal clients);
- excellent organisationskills;
- excellent verbal andwritten communication skills;
- teamplayer;
- abilityto maintain confidentiality; and
- goodworking knowledge of Microsoft Office programs mainly. Word,Outlook and Excel.
