App Innovation Specialist Manager
The App Innovation Specialist Manager is a senior leader within our Enterprise Operating Unit organisation, developing and managing a team of high-calibre Azure Solution Specialists to help our Enterprise customers achieve their mission, transform by leveraging technology, and drive value from Microsoft and our Partner solutions.
Leading a national team, the role requires deep sales expertise, business acumen, and technology expertise. The successful candidate is seasoned in communicating with C-suite and Executive Stakeholders and can represent Microsoft cross-solution areas with customers and Microsoft partners.

- Inspires and develops people, builds high-performing teams, and attracts top talent.
- Sales management and people leadership experience in relevant enterprise and customer settings (large enterprise, technology).
- Is an influencer and thought leader with business and technical customers, effectively building trust and enduring relationships.
- Can orchestrate campaigns across the internal business, WW Product, and Industry Teams to create a unified and holistic sales approach and bring the ‘best of the best’ to customers.
- Has a broad understanding of technology trends, market forces, and industry imperatives.
- Builds strong connections with industry partners to create a meaningful extension of the team’s sales and technical reach.
- Can interpret industry signals to make critical decisions in how the team drives growth and navigates both headwinds and opportunities for the industries we serve.
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technology-related people management experience.
- 5+ years of technology-related sales leadership.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for owning and delivering business targets by driving sales growth, managing a high-performing team, and leveraging technology to achieve strategic goals.
- Lead and be recognised as a trusted advisor to C-level TDM & BDM in customer accounts. Coach teams on opportunity discovery, acceleration, and removing roadblocks.
- Serve as a Market Maker internally and externally for the region as well as assigned verticals, guiding large-scale complex deals.
- Be the ambassador of App Innovation solutions in your area/region; enable awareness & Solution Area prioritisation across Area leadership & enable a cohesive working environment across cross-functional teams.
- Advocate consultative sales motions along with capable co-sell prioritised partners to solve customer challenges and accelerate consumption.
