Who We're Looking For:

The past two years have involved rapid growth for us and we're looking for a passionate, energetic, and experienced sales professional to join our team, working alongside our sales team to further grow our network and support those within it. 

Applicants MUST have proven sales success within the Asset Finance lending, aggregation, or broking industry. 

This role will be based in Queensland and service the region of Queensland, involving travel and a significant amount of autonomy.

It's the perfect role for someone who is motivated by achieving targets, building long-standing professional relationships and generally loves Sales, Relationship Management and has experience in Asset Finance B2B roles.

Key Responsibilities:

The Business Development Manager role is responsible for the identification and acquisition of Broker and Dealer aggregation clients in line with the Fintelligence growth strategy, in addition to maintaining ongoing strong relationships with such clients.Establishing strong prospect pipelines is an important element and focus of this role. Alongside our Head of Growth and Distribution, the role will have input into the growth strategy and related sales plans.

Your major duties are as follows: 

  • Utilising existing and the development of new networks, to identify new broker targets to join our Aggregation network. 
  • Subsequently build relationships and accurately present the value proposition of Fintelligence with objection of acquisition – including preparation and management of sales presentations, system demonstrations, and negotiations with prospects. 
  • Working with our sales team, passionately execute sales plans to acquire new introducers to achieve agreed growth targets. 
  • Responsibly develop and present client proposals, subject to input from Head Growth and Distribution.
  • Manage the client from prospect identification through to acceptance and successful implementation handover to ensure client expectations are satisfied and of a high quality. 
  • Maintain active and professional contact with all acquired clients, industry associates, lenders, and insurers to ensure the Fintelligence brand is appropriately represented. 
  • Produce accurate and timely reports for Head of Growth and Distribution, and other senior stakeholders. 
  • Work alongside Head of Partnerships and National Training Manager to co-ordinate and facilitate new broker training including key aspects of the Fintelligence value proposition, optimal use of Ambition Cloud and the promotion of digital marketing and sales strategies. 
  • Proactively provide feedback to appropriate internal staff regarding performance and ongoing enhancement of process and systems that support the Aggregation business. I.e., Accounts, Ambition Cloud, Training, Onboarding, Compliance, Etc.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Finance Broking, Aggregation or Lender experience in B2B roles.
  • Demonstrable broad and strong network within the finance broking market is highly desirable.
  • Thorough understanding of consumer and commercial finance products and third-party distribution.
  • Valid driver’s licence is essential.
  • Minimum of Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking is preferred.
