The Organisation:

Successful and well-established luxury goods online platform which prides itself in being a leader in their sector is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and visionary Chief Operating Officer to provide strategic leadership and oversight across all departments to create a strong foundation for sustainable high growth and success. 

This multifaceted role requires a strategic thinker with an understanding of business operations, a track record of driving revenue growth & leadership.

The Role:

This leadership position is newly created to spearhead high growth and scale a well established luxury goods market leader in Australia. 

Together with the CEO and other key management, you will help re-set and drive a profitable growth strategy that includes international and in-market expansion of the existing online business, elevating it to new heights in the coming 3 years.

You have the right mix and proven track record of can-do attitude, strategic thinking and operational experience with a high growth 8-digit turnover business. 

Working with a lean, hard-working and dedicated team, you will seek opportunities to accelerate innovation, inspire and align team performance and implement processes which both drive and support scale.

Background skills and experience:

Successful applicants will have the following proven experience:

  • Record of consistent growth and performance at 8-digit+ sales level in the online retail / ecommerce or online auction space. Ideally with internationalisation experience.
  • Strategic Analytical Thinker with experience of driving and adapting a clear growth strategy, making decisions based on customer intel, internal data and analysing opportunities and trends.
  • Experience leading and delivering change and profitable growth inspiring the organisation to follow.
  • Inspires and mentors people and motivates a diverse team. Positive leadership style with high emotional quotient. Experience building, managing, and energising high performing, high functioning teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Bias to Action and Resourcefulness. Passionately finds ways to remove constraints and barriers, and accelerates innovation and improvement processes.
