• Full-time and part-time, continuing and fixed term positions
• Salary from $76,908 to $97,786 (HEW Levels 5 and 6)
• 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading
• Based at Wallumattagal campus, North Ryde with hybrid and flexible working options

THE ROLE

We are on the look out for experienced and enthusiastic Payroll Officers and Advisors to join our fun and professional Payroll Services Team.

Reporting to the Manager, Payroll Services you will be a key player in a team who deliver timely, accurate, compliant and customer focused payroll and superannuation services to a large and diverse range of customers.

About You

Your experience in a similar role, strong attention to detail and efficiency will see you succeed in this role. You will be familiar with payroll systems, legislation and procedures. You will have a strong customer service mindset and always ensure a your customers receive an excellent service experience.

You will enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment to achieve shared goals. You will be a team player, highly self-driven, quality and improvement focused, and able to manage high volume work and demanding deadlines.

Prior experience in payroll in higher education or health industries, and working knowledge of Ascender Pay, Workday and Kronos is highly regarded.

  • Prior experience in a payroll or superannuation service role
  • Experience in applying Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
  • Knowledge of superannuation and tax legislation
  • Service delivery experience in HR operations, payroll and superannuation
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines
