GXU Radiology Specialists is a radiologist-owned practice, established with the sole purpose of making a difference in ways that are not possible in corporate radiology. Our clinic has a particular focus on interventional radiology and is Newcastle's leading private provider of oncology biopsies and interventional pain procedures.

The Opportunity

We are delighted to extend a full-time or part-time opportunity for a general Sonographer to join our dynamic team in Thornton. This role is an excellent fit for professionals eager to work in a vibrant environment, performing a wide variety of scans daily. We work closely as a team, getting advice from colleagues with full-time on-site radiologist support. 

With the chance to upskill across new modalities we would support relocation to the region for successful candidates.

About You

  • A qualified Sonographer with a current ASAR registration
  • Nuchal Translucency accreditation (or willing to work towards)
  • Proven ability in time management and multitasking and ability to balance workload to ensure timely patient care
  • Excellent communication interpersonal skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Above industry rates on offer up to $85 + super per hour commensurate upon experience
