Food Safety/Quality Assurance Managers

Apt Resources is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Food Safety/Quality Assurance Managers to join their client's team at a prestigious Royal Family in Abu Dhabi. As a Food Safety/Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, supplies, and inventory levels, monitoring and Inspecting the quality of incoming and outgoing items/materials including raw meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, and all food items that are required to inspect and monitor.

Responsible as well for directing food safety, quality assurance, and sanitation programs, overseeing the facilities' strategies, objectives, and operational status to ensure high-quality processes and products at food production facilities, review quality testing policies and procedures to ensure that all products created at a manufacturing facility meet food safety and regulatory standards in food manufacturing are followed and meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement food safety and quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with international standards and regulations
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess and improve the effectiveness of food safety and quality control measures
  • Monitor and enforce hygiene and sanitation practices in food handling, storage, and preparation areas
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of food safety and quality control activities
  • Provide training and support to staff on food safety practices and protocols
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulations to drive continuous improvement in food safety and quality control processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance, preferably in a high-end hospitality or royal household environment
  • Strong knowledge of international food safety standards and regulations
  • Certification in food safety and quality management is highly desirable
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Benefits

The salary is AED 25K-35K All-in (Negotiable for suitable candidates).
