About the role:

Centrals currently have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Project Engineer.

The successful applicant will have experience on remote sites &/or project engineering within the mining sector in civil construction. 

Key responsibilities:

  • To work with and accept responsibility for the technical aspects of the project and work with the onsite team and multi-discipline workforce.
  • Be part of maintaining the highest focus and commitment to meet HSEQ requirements
  • Focus on delivering the best overall performance for your project
  • Be part of the management team taking responsibility to manage the approved budget. Strive to exceed the profit expectations of the project. 
  • Preparation and delivery of technical and quality related tender/project documentation
  • Accurate preparation of material take-offs, ordering materials and estimates for all variations


About you:

  • Experience working on major mining infrastructure and Main Roads WA projects,
  • Track record in the construction industry with a strong understanding of civil construction (roadworks, earthworks, and concrete).
  • At least five 5 years’ experience working on remote sites/project engineering roles within the mining or oil & gas sectors
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Material Quantity take-off and measurement

Candidates must be able to undergo a full pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen and be able to obtain a National Police Clearance within 6 months validity.
