The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Oracle Managed Services Presales Leader to join our DXC Practice for Oracle in ANZ.

We are looking for an experienced professional to drive growth for our organisation’s Oracle Managed Services business. As the Oracle Managed Services Presales leader, you will be responsible for all elements of the managed services business, including go-to-market strategy, Solution Design and Governance, Client facing business development activities and participating in sales process.

This is a key member of the pre-sales and sales team, reporting to the DXC Practice for Oracle Head of Managed Services. You’ll have to manage a diverse range of opportunities and be an experienced and efficient leader. You will have excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic.

The goal of this position is to drive growth of the Oracle managed services business, maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and drive sustainable growth at target profit margins.
This pivotal role provides an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and growth-oriented practice within a leading organisation with substantial career opportunities.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Pre-sales: Working with the ANZ sales team to identify and qualify opportunities and attending customer/prospect meetings, providing inputs into proposals for the practice, and presenting and/or demonstrating our solution as part of bid presentations.
  • Practice Strategy and Growth: Developing and executing the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy in collaboration with the Account Directors, Practice Managers, and the GM of the Managed Services business to drive practice growth.
  • Solution Design: Working within a team of Solution Experts, own the strategic solutions and ensure that these solutions are well understood within the Red Rock organisation.
  • Delivery excellence: Ensure a consistent and repeatable methodology for the pre-sales processes and provide QA services to key RFPs.

Requirements and skills
  • Solutioning / Pre-sales experience
  • Standout stakeholder management experience and a relationship builder by nature to ensure real collaboration with clients.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen and good understanding of sales concepts
  • Strong managed services background with knowledge of ITIL and ITSM functions
  • Strong familiarity and experience with Transition approach and methodology
  • Strong experience in bid response writing, pricing, and renewal process
  • Analytical and strategic thinking ability to solve complex managed services challenges and propose solutions.
  • Attention to detail with full accountability for outcomes that deliver customer-satisfying results
  • Ability to work independently in a high-velocity and dynamic team environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal & presentation.
  • Strong experience in bid response writing, pricing, and renewal process
  • Solid understanding of Oracle solutions and products (On-premises technology/ Applications, SaaS. IaaS and PaaS)
