Right now, we are looking for a talented Supervisor to join our new Sydney office.
About the roleJoining a small but dynamic team, the successful candidate will report directly to a Principal and work in a cohesive team of five (5) on a range of tax compliance, strategy and advisory matters.
This is a client-facing role, working with clients in the Construction, Transport, Manufacturing, Logistics and Legal industries with turnovers up to $150 million and group structures ranging from 5 to 50 entities. Significant relevant experience with complex client structures will be essential to success in this role.
Our new Supervisor will have great investigative, problem-solving and analytical skills, across 6 or more years of professional employment in public practice roles. This will be paired with exceptional written and verbal communication to be able meet client needs in a timely and professional manner.
As a member of this service-driven team, you will have a thorough understanding of technical tax concepts and their implications on our clients including, but not limited to, GST, Division 7A and CGT. You will be proficient at preparing and reviewing tax calculations, income tax returns as well as business/instalment activity statements. Additionally, you will have an interest in assisting clients from an operational perspective, including assisting with troubleshooting and business processes.
While not compulsory, a current CA qualification (or progression towards/interest in) is desirable.
