Everybody knows a JJ’s Truck when they see one... our iconic green and gold fleet head out rain or shine for collections in your area. But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300

We do more than collect the bin from your street; we also:

  1. Convert waste into clean energy
  2. Divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost
  3. Manufacture customised waste management equipment
  4. Handle asbestos removal
  5. Refine and recycle oil
  6. Manage and maintain our fleet in-house
  7. Have our own bespoke technology systems

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration, and much more...

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s Business Development / Sales Representative (Sales Re-Sign Representative), you will support our depot operations in the Brisbane region. No day will be the same – this position is well suited to an adaptable sales professional with the ability to multi-task and problem solve.

We equip our salespeople with a strong working knowledge of our business so they can operate autonomously and confidently. The role has three core components:

  1. Provide excellent after-sales service to our existing customer base and defend them against competitors
  2. Upsell new services to our existing customer base for mutual benefit
  3. Grow our customer base within your assigned territory

Professionalism, expertise, and a sense of urgency are all critical to success in the role. We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers. This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday. Regular travel required across the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Manage and efficiently action inbound customer calls and enquiries
  2. Provide professional customer service to both internal and external customers
  3. Ability to prioritize and perform duties in a fast-paced and varied role
  4. Proactively pursue new business in a structured, focused & considered manner
  5. Developing and nurturing existing customers through systematic cycle visits and interactions
  6. Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs each week
  7. Demonstrating a keen passion to drive the business forward and continuing to grow
  8. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business
  9. Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement
  10. Strive for improvement in operations while upholding a high level of safety at all times
ABOUT YOU

Enjoy a challenge. Be driven and ambitious by nature; you love the thrill of winning new business and nurturing customers. Have strong verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and be well-presented. Demonstrate you are outgoing by nature; you enjoy meeting people and have a strong focus on customer service. Have previous face-to-face selling experience (highly regarded). Be motivated & love to work autonomously and you enjoy being part of a larger team. Have a strong attention to detail; you are thorough and methodical in your approach. Have your own roadworthy vehicle and a valid Australian Drivers Licence. Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential services industry. Have well-developed people and relationship skills.
