Job Title: Business Development ManagerEnergy Storage System)

Reports to: Senior Product Manager

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Responsible for: Energy Storage system and portable battery products sales

Primary targets and Job responsibilities:

  • According to regional sales goals and tasks, achieve personal annual/quarterly sales targets
  • Responsible for the development of our sales channel and increase the sales of energy storage system products and portable battery products. Align the new channels and new customers with existing business strategies in Mounting Systems and RUNNUR businesses.
  • To Prepare monthly sales forecasts and sales plans for the responsible clients.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of various related market activities based on sales targets, maintain and optimize customer relationships, participate in the market research and information provision for company decision making and new product development.
  • Responsible for maintaining customer relationships before, during, and after sales
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs, develop corresponding marketing plans, provide suitable products and solutions for customers, and establish long-term cooperative relationships
  • Participate in order/contract review and draft business contracts, and provide customer risk warning plans
  • According to the accounts receivable collection plan, collect customer payments, Assist the customer service team in handling major customer complaints
  • Other related tasks assigned by the company.

Main Job Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and above, ideally if hold qualifications in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics

or Science.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Development, account executive or sales manager role on ESS product and industry.
  • Strong overall market knowledge – which industries to target and when, plus the structured and methodical in approach to sales.
  • Very good understanding of Solar power, Battery Systems, Communication networking, Power systems or power Electronics is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel interstate and internationally.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team, excellent coordination capability, plus An Australian working permit or citizenship
