Group Accountant

Salary: $120-$140k plus super commensurate with experience

About the Opportunity
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of the accounting and payroll function for the Oceania Province.
- Review and compile annual financial statements for various group entities.
- Oversee the annual audit process for various group entities.
- Monitor and assist in the management of the cash flow of the Province.
- Liaise and assist with other departments to compile budgets.
- Review and recommend changes to strengthen internal controls related to Province financial management and financial records.
- Investigate, compare, and implement new accounting and HR software.
- Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Finance Team Lead
Experience, Certificates and Person Specifications
- Educated to degree level in a commerce/accounting field
- CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role
Key Selection Criteria
We are seeking a Group Accountant. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, with proven organisational skills and strong attention to detail. A collaborative professional, with the ability to deal with accounts needs of the organisation.
Your covering letter will address your suitability to the role, drawing on your existing experience, skillset and aptitude equipping you for this role. Outlining tertiary qualifications, further studies, and experience in related disciplines.
