Founded in 2007, Linkforce started with a small crew of shutdown specialists and a single utility operating in the Pilbara. Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 2,800 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a SMP Project Engineer for a hybrid role that will see you working both from our CBD Head Office as well as FIFO to various client sites, ex-Perth.

THE ROLE

As a SMP Project Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Plan materials and administer vendor orders, ensuring optimal utilisation of all resources and  compliance to all timeframes
  • Preparation of detailed work-packs
  • Assist with project plans, schedules and reporting
  • Interpret standard specifications and typical/standard drawings to reflect current industry standards
  • Identify, investigate, record, monitor and report on actions, resolution and costs of vendor NCRs
  • Ensuring all variations to scope and or specifications are approved and documented
  • Provide technical support to the Site team
  • Review completed site quality documentation and compile close out documentation to client
  • Execute other administrative tasks as required and directed

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 5yrs experience in Fixed Plant Mining or Construction
  • Ability to expedite vendors and facilitate sub-contractor inspections
  • Be able to gather data, analyse and solve problems
  • Building positive and professional relationships with clients
  • Ability to deliver high quality work under strict deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera 6 is desirable
  • A current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
