Applications are invited for a Head of Department to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team at The Anglican School Googong. We've grown from 33 students in 2015 to almost 500 students K-12 in 2024. 

Located in NSW around 20 minutes from the centre of Canberra, The Anglican School Googong is focused on community, relationships and student-centred learning in an Anglican context.

Head of Inclusive Education (7-12)

The Head of Inclusive Education (7-12) ensures that all Senior School students can access and fully participate in learning, supported by reasonable adjustments and teaching strategies tailored to meet their individual needs. 

The Head of Inclusive Education (7-12) is responsible for:

  • The development and management of all Individual learning Plans across Years 7-12, including annual parent conferences.
  • All aspects of data collection and reporting related to the School’s Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) submission
  • Staff briefings on individual students and their inclusive learning needs

The Anglican School Googong has statutory Child Protection responsibilities under revised legislation which became effective on 15 June 2013.Under the Child Protection [Working with Children] Act 2012 [NSW]and the Child Protection [Working with Children] Regulation 2013 [NSW] the School can only employ persons who hold a WWCC clearance from the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian.
