Head of Marketing
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing to lead our brand, media, data, CRM, and creative initiatives. This pivotal role will drive leads and revenue for Akolade by combining classic brand strategy with a data driven mindset. The ideal candidate will possess hands on knowledge of tools and technology ecosystems that enable consistent lead generation and brand building.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary guardian and builder of our brand identity
- Lead the development of comprehensive marketing strategies in collaboration with production and sales team.
- Execute marketing campaigns, including segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations. Foster a test-learn-optimize mindset within the organization
- Collaborate with the product team to uncover insights and enhance current events while exploring new opportunities
- Oversee and nurture the growth of the marketing department
- Develop resource plans, including the management of the annual marketing budget, projections, and expenditures.
- Utilize key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends. Translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team.
- Conduct regular sessions with managers to review the sales pipeline, address challenges, brainstorm solutions, and provide training to ensure consistent high performance
Requirements and skills
- At least 10 years’ experience in marketing. Successful track record in senior marketing role and campaign creation with brand or leading advertising agency
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Hands on experience with building brand strategy
- Hands-on experience with leading and optimising SEM, email marketing, display and social media content strategy
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Degree in marketing or equivalent
