We are a leading construction company specialising in high-end residential building projects across Mosman, North Shore and Northern Beaches.
The role:
Seeking a Project Manager with Contracts Administrator experience to join a vibrant team. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of high-end residential building projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including our own site teams, as well as interacting with architects, designers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients, to ensure that projects are delivered seamlessly on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your ability to lead, communicate effectively, and manage resources efficiently will be essential in achieving our project goals.
Where are the projects:
Our projects are based across the Mosman, North Shore and Northern Beaches.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff.
Provide clear direction, allocate tasks, and ensure efficient communication among team members.
Budget and Resource Management:
Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and manage cost control measures.
Provide project claims, variation costing, cost to complete and other cost control documentation and measures as required throughout the project lifecycle
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues before they escalate.
Regularly assess project progress, identifying deviations from plans and implementing corrective actions.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and construction excellence.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality specifications and safety regulations.
Working closely with project directors to provide reporting and updates to live projects.
Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, keeping them informed about project progress, milestones, and potential changes.
Address client concerns, providing solutions that align with project goals.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure projects comply with all relevant building codes, permits, and legal requirements.
Liaise with local authorities to secure necessary approvals.
Qualifications:
Trade background OR Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing high-end residential construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools advantageous
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
Sound understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
