As a Strategic Pricing Manager, APAC you will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans focused on pricing strategies that will deliver profitable growth for all segments within Asia Pacific. This is a highly impactful position with responsibility for defining, developing, evaluating, and overseeing the implementation of pricing models and strategies designed to optimize revenue, market share, and long-term profitability.
You will be required to have a deep working knowledge of SAP pricing mechanics, along with strong financial, operational and analytical skills.

What type of work you will be doing:
• Develop pricing Strategy
• Understand the business and technical requirements of our customers and partners, and work closely with the internal teams to fashion appropriate deal terms.
• Provide pricing expertise along with SAP and related system support for business unit
• Develop documented processes and polices, aligning with the US pricing team where possible
• Identify, analyze and recommend opportunities to improve department process and systems.
• Recognize and capture opportunities to drive cost reductions
• Review competitive dynamics and win loss data
• Optimize existing platforms and tools through system and process enhancement
• Work with Business Analysts and Management to help coordinate change management
• Provide knowledge and understanding of systems and processes and their relationship to other departments
• Able to train and work closely with sales teams to make sure everyone is aware of the process and constructs, and to quickly execute on deals that are in the pipeline.
• Provide guidance to IT, through the US pricing team on building system enhancements.
• Work with internal users to obtain feedback on improving systems and working with IT to deliver requests.
• Create and deliver metrics, reports and analysis related to company initiatives and activities that bring value and align with department goals
• Coordinate with business units, technical teams and other key stakeholders to obtain data required for reporting
• Prepare impact analysis on key initiatives for presentation to department leadership
What capabilities will you need to succeed in this role?
• A minimum of 6+ years’ work related experience in a similar role, preferably in a high technology related field.
• SAP Pricing experience required
• Demonstrable experience setting up a pricing function in an IT related business
• Be self-sufficient and a self-starter, while also being able to work well in a diverse team environment
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities
• Understanding of systems and processes
• Displays objectivity in assessing impacts to the process, sub-process and system
• Consistent and methodical approach to problem solving
• Analytical skills aligned with pricing strategies
