Role Overview:

As the Head of Credit Compliance at Fundo Loans, you will be responsible for managing and executing new strategies to drive business expansion while maintaining a clear focus on compliance risk and responsibility under our ACL. We take risk management and compliance seriously, and we are looking for someone to play a pivotal role in ensuring that we operate with the highest standards of integrity and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Responsible Manager under the business' Credit Licence
  • Manage and optimise compliance policies and protocols on behalf of the organisation
  • Develop and maintain a compliance program to ensure the business operates in accordance with NCCP, Privacy, AML and related obligations for consumer lending
  • Determine compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking them
  • Sign off on marketing and advertising collateral 
  • Remain up to date on laws related to the business and implement and update policies accordingly
  • Perform compliance audits to determine whether established protocols are being followed and identify improvement opportunities
  • Maintain the compliance resource library for staff members to reference when they have questions
  • Manage the business' Internal Dispute Resolution scheme and all complaint matters arising under it
  • Liaise with external regulatory bodies. 

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • 5+ years prior experience in management of consumer lending 
  • 2+ years prior experience in risk management or compliance roles
  • Superior attention to detail in order to effectively manage the business' risk profile
  • Must be a strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Possess a collaborative personality and be open to suggestions from team members
  • Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies
  • Strong time management and organisational skills and be able to meet sometimes unpredictable deadlines
  • Should have a strong moral code and sense of ethics
  • Certificate IV in Credit Management or equivalent
