We are on the hunt for an experienced Senior Project officer to join a Government agency on a 6 month contract with a possibility of extension

Role title: Senior Project Officer (Grade 9/10)
Duration: 6 months
Pay rate: $650/day + super
Work location: Parramatta with WFH set-up
Working hours: 8hours/day, 40 hours/week

Description:

  • The Senior Project Officer will support the implementation of up to $43m of Solar and Air-conditioning projects including roof replacements.
  • This role will work closely with the Solar & AC Project Manager and report to him to collect data for project status, risks, issues, budget updates and ad hoc reporting.
  • Manage and oversee aspects of projects and implementations, including developing and monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, and monitoring budgets to ensure successful project milestones are met.
  • Prepare a range of project-related documents for key stakeholders as required, including status updates, reports, budgets, and discussion papers to manage the flow of information.
  • Conduct site visits and contractor management as required within the team structure.
  • Maintain oversight of project progress and identify issues and risks bringing them to the attention of the Project Manager.

Requirements:

- At least 3 years experience working as a Senior Project Officer
- Experience writing reports
- Government experience would be a big plus
- Salesforce and Sap experience would be a plus
- White card and driver's license
- Will be site inspections
