Key Requirements:Wood is recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals business based in Brisbane.
This opportunity is available on either a permanent or contract basis. Flexibility to work full-time / part-time. You must be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR) and able to work lawfully in Australia. Ideally, you will be suitably qualified in Engineering from a recognized institution and have 5+ years of proven experience within the mining sector, including 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar Project Management role.
It is advantageous if you are a Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM) or hold an equivalent certification. In addition, you will have:
- Significant experience in project delivery management.
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience in client facing roles.
- Engineering project management experience with extensive knowledge of Australian and International applicable codes and standards.
- Proven experience managing risk during the design process consistent with technical and commercial requirements.
- Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering programs.
- A focus on delivering solutions and adept at managing a dynamic environment with varying tasks and changing and competing priorities.
