Key Requirements:Wood is recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals business based in Brisbane.
This opportunity is available on either a permanent or contract basis. Flexibility to work full-time / part-time. You must be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR) and able to work lawfully in Australia. Ideally, you will be suitably qualified in Engineering from a recognized institution and have 5+ years of proven experience within the mining sector, including 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar Project Management role.
It is advantageous if you are a Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM) or hold an equivalent certification. In addition, you will have:
Significant experience in project delivery management.
Excellent communication skills with proven experience in client facing roles.
Engineering project management experience with extensive knowledge of Australian and International applicable codes and standards.
Proven experience managing risk during the design process consistent with technical and commercial requirements.
Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering programs.
A focus on delivering solutions and adept at managing a dynamic environment with varying tasks and changing and competing priorities.
