About Our Client

Based in Sydney, the Business Development Manager provides a unique perspective across SMB customers through to large enterprise across all industries. We are keen to both extend our core customer base as well as deepen existing relationships, hence this role is a pivotal role to do just that.
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in New South Wales. Reporting into the Head of Partnerships, this is a newly created role that offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to make a significant impact. The successful candidate will join a national team and will be responsible for driving both new business acquisition and account management initiatives, collaborating closely with the senior leadership team in NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue New Business opportunities to expand the client base within the NSW market, across both SMB and enterprise clients
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring outstanding Customer Experience and in turn retention and growth across all business lines
- Using data and insights to add value to key customers within the portfolio
- Using market research and industry trends to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to tailor solutions to meet customer needs and exceed expectations
- Provide quarterly account reviews for key customers
- Provide updates and reporting to senior leadership team on sales performance, market insights and growth opportunities
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for the Business Development Manager role you will need to have;
- Proven track record of success in business development and account management roles, preferably within the professional services space or related industry
- Strong understanding of the NSW market landscape with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
- A strategic thinker with a results driven mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Collaborative team player with a proactive solution orientated approach
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
