Trade Marketing Manager

Role Overview:
As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will report directly to the Marketing Director and collaborate closely with the Sales division. Your role will involve translating marketing and retail customer strategies into actionable plans across various trade channels, including retailers, marketplaces, and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed channel plans aligned with overall marketing and sales strategies.
- Oversee the implementation and execution of trade marketing activities to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, budget requirements, and timelines.
- Develop, implement, and manage the annual channel plan to achieve growth targets and ensure that the desired product benefits and brand values are clearly and accurately communicated.
- Development activations to drive the promotion of new retail partnerships.
- Measure performance of activities against KPI's and present findings/recommendations
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to optimize trade marketing strategies.
- Monitor and report on the performance of trade marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 5+ Years in Trade Marketing, preferably within the FMCG, Retail Business or consumer goods industry.
- Experience managing and optimizing a marketing trade budget.
- Proven ability to execute a tactical plan that aligns with marketing and customer strategies.
- Experience managing agency relations, from brief definition to project management and post completion reporting.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into effective plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where innovation and creativity drive success.
