Administration Officer

This Administration Officer position is an integral part of the Specialist Palliative Care Service (SPCS) that provides the Hospital and Health Service with inpatient, outpatient, home visiting and telehealth Services. Based at Caloundra, this is an opportunity to provide support to the Consult Liaison Service with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate management of data associated with the service. You will be part of a motivated, compassionate team who provide a valuable service to the community.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with customers and demonstrate understanding, empathy, patience and a positive service focus.
- Provide high quality confidential administration support to the Specialist Palliative Care Service team.
- Act as a primary point of contact for all incoming and outgoing communication.
Remuneration value up to $94 810 p.a., comprising salary rates $37.68 - $41.90 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (part time position, hours negotiable).
