About the role
Queensland Rail are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Coordinator to join the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP). This role is integral to the successful delivery of this complex and significant program, ensuring that all aspects of the program are coordinated efficiently and effectively.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement, providing a development opportunity and career pathway within the team and broader project.
Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include
• Coordinate and manage various program office activities to ensure alignment with overall project goals and timelines.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among different teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project control documentation, including performance reports, schedules, financials, and meeting minutes.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of governance forums, stakeholder meetings, presentations, and workshops.
• Assist in the identification and mitigation of program risks, implementing corrective actions and monitoring as necessary.

About you
• 3+ years’ experience in program coordination or project management within a large, complex project environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Good financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyse financial reports, and ensure cost-effective project delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Project Management qualification (desirable)
