Come and discover the opportunity to join our Australian Steel Markets Marketing team as a Marketing Manager based in Mascot. As BlueScope continues to grow as a business, we continue to strengthen and develop our people. We need to ensure we have the right mindsets, capabilities and skills to create and inspire smart solutions in steel to strengthen our communities for the future.
Our Marketing team develops and drives strategy to deliver business objectives for volume, product mix, share, brand equity and profitability within the Australian Residential, Commercial and Industrial Building Segments and non-building sectors.
In this leadership role, you will contribute to the growth of top and bottom-line performance through the strategically targeted development and execution of our Commercial and Civil sector marketing plans. Working closely with key internal and external customers and industry associations to develop strategy and drive growth.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with our experienced and talented team and further enhance the team’s capacity to grow as well as be part of an industry change and influence the way buildings are built into the future. This opportunity includes a competitive remuneration package including attractive 14% superannuation option and a profit share plan (annual bonus).
What Will You Do?
Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you will lead a team of Product Managers to deliver growth in the Commercial and Civil Construction segments.
You will:
- lead the planning and development of strategy and establish and implement effective marketing strategies in the commercial and civil segments.
- support the management of BlueScope, COLORBOND steel, TRUECORE steel brand equity as well as the equity of our brand and associated steel brands and products such as HRP
- lead the marketing effort to drive product development solutions to secure current & future segment share
- provide input to and support the digital strategy for the commercial segment
- maintain a deep understanding of the commercial and institutional construction sectors including product analysis, understanding market and construction trends to provide guidance to the business in technical and building code compliance considerations
- provide short- & medium-term strategic focus for the Commercial and Civil Construction Segments
- develop influential relationships with key customers and industry/market influencers
More About You
As an experienced and inspirational leader of people combined with your experience in B2B Marketing, you will bring:
- a Marketing Degree or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
- proven track record of leading and developing a team
- experience developing, managing, and implementing segment, channel and marketing plans
- project management and new product and / or brand development experience
- experience scoping, briefing and managing research projects including an understanding of research methodologies, tools and techniques
