We are seeking a Systems Accountant to manage our finance systems and oversee all developments. Reporting to the Head of Group Accounting, you will use your accounting knowledge, commercial acumen and technology expertise to deliver highly efficient and optimised systems across Bravura.
The Systems Accountant drives continuous improvement in efficiency, effectiveness and control for Finance and other business processes and systems. This position is crucial in driving process improvements, streamlining workflows and fostering a deep understanding of finance processes.
What You’ll Do
- Managing the interface of Workday Financial System with other systems: Chris21, Datawarehouse, TM1 and EPM and oversee all new developments.
- Identify inefficiencies in existing processes related to finance systems, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop others within the Finance team and wider business.
- Monitor system performance, maintain and provide high level technical support for system related issues and optimize functionality.
- Document processes and system changes.

To excel in this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification and strong systems accounting background.
- Proven experience in Workday, with a particular emphasis leveraging the system’s functionality to drive automation.
- Extensive experience with accounting packages, including the use of reporting tools to extract financial data.
- The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and guide others through change.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
