The Role
The Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) at the Agency has commenced a review of current tools, frameworks and processes and is embarking on an exciting journey of implementing key findings and recommendations. Each section in the EPMO includes Portfolio Analysts who will work collaboratively to support their respective Directors and Managers to ensure that they uplift and embed best practice across programs and projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct program and project assurance reviews to ensure projects are structured, governed, and managed appropriately and adheres to the Project Portfolio Management Framework (PPMF)
  • Prepare assurance reports to document findings and identify key risks for the program or project.
  • Track and monitor programs and projects to identify triggers for assurance during delivery.
  • Assist with lessons learnt workshops and contribute to the portfolio's lessons learnt register.
  • Provide ongoing support to the program and project management teams across the Agency including subject matter expert advice on the Agency's Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Tool
  • Assist with establishing and uplifting the templates, processes, and guidelines across the portfolio to support the PPMF.


Skills and Experience

  • Have a detailed understanding of project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
  • Experience in implementing and supporting a Project Portfolio Management Tool Experience in executive reporting and writing.
  • High level of knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel, Project and Office systems including Office 365
