About the role
Daikin Australia currently in search for an Inventory Planner to join our Sales Planning division. This role will be based in Chipping Norton, NSW with the purpose to ensure that Sales forecast is met by planning for finished goods and accessory inventory.
Reporting to the National Sales Planning Manager, this role will incorporate components such as daily analysis of stock balance sheets to determine current/future stock shortages. Creating demand forecasts for finished goods and accessories in line with Stock Standards. Liaising with suppliers to arrange for accurate and timely delivery of stock against purchase orders.
About you
- Previous experience in roles such as Inventory Controller in relevant engineering products environment will be highly appreciated.
- Strong exposure and knowledge of SAP and Advanced Excel
- Attention to detail, ability to analyze and solve problems
- Strong initiative to take ownership of issues to ensure positive outcomes
- Ability to deal with conflicting priorities and plan accordingly to achieve deadlines and timeframes.
- Ability to manage conflict situations to achieve appropriate outcomes, in line with company policy.
