Ihre Aufgaben

As Internal Auditor, you will act as a strategic partner for our management by monitoring and optimizing our internal control and risk management system. By collaborating with ISTA employees at all levels and reporting to the ISTA management and audit committee, you provide valuable recommendations for a growing research institution.
- Development and execution of the risk based annual audit plan as well as execution of ad-hoc audits
- Reporting on internal audit results to the management and the audit committee
- Follow-up on agreed actions and reporting on implementation status to management
- Regular testing of internal controls via workflows
- Yearly risk assessment and follow-up on risk mitigation measures
- Annual review of internal audit procedures
- Staying abreast of changes by continuous development and networking with peer-institutions

Ihr Profil
- University degree in economics and several years of relevant audit experience
- Professional degree in Internal Audit (CIA, Diplomierte:r Interne:r Revisor:in or comparable) is an advantage
- Experience with internal control systems and risk management as well as process and project management
- Sound knowledge of and experience with SAP
- Excellent analytical skills and systematic work methodology
- High attention to detail, without losing sight of the overarching goals
- Ability to work independently and to assert oneself within the organization
- Excellent English skills and solid German skills to take part in relevant conferences, workshops in Austria and to process information only available in German (e.g. court of auditors’ report)
