Senior Internal Audit Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our Group Internal Audit & Risk Management Team at our headquarters in Vienna, Austria. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting group-wide audit reviews at our plants worldwide, including leading audit engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess the functionality and effectiveness of internal control systems
  • Assess audit results, determine appropriate measures, prepare meaningful audit reports, and track implementation of measures
  • Participate in analysis and evaluation of internal processes, structures, and guidelines as well as development of optimization measures
  • Convey technical and methodological competence to the team and new employees
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business with a focus on corporate accounting or auditing
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in internal audit (preferably in industry), additional experience in auditing, internal control, IT audit, risk management is an advantage
  • External certifications such as CIA are desirable
  • Analytical, accurate, and solution-oriented individual with strong communication skills to conduct interviews in German and English (C-level)
