**POSTDOC POSITION (F/M/X)**
(full-time, 40h per week)

in the research group “Gravitational Quantum Physics” led by Markus Aspelmeyer (for details please visit:
Aspelmeyer Group).

**Your tasks**:

- Experimental research in the field of gravitational quantum physics. In particular, in setting up a new

torsion balance experiment for the study of the Newtonian ISL at short distances. Your focus will be on

interferometric readout and capacitive feedback stabilization of the pendulum motion.
- Supporting the team with analytical and numerical tools for data analysis.
- Being involved in various administrative and academic tasks.

**Your profile**:

- Completed PhD studies in physics
- Previous research experience and a scientific track record reflecting your level of seniority
- Experience in supervising students and writing project proposals
- A detailed curriculum vitae including a full list of peer-review publications
- Research statement
- PhD certificate

We offer an annual gross salary of € 66.501,40, according to the collective agreement of the Austrian Academy of

Sciences.
