**This unit Restructuring RE & CEE is responsible for (i.a.)**:
Handling of Real Estate and Project Finance Workout clients and of Erste Group Bank (Holding) and Erste Bank Oesterreich (EBOe) as well as of all Workout clients of Erste Group Immorent (EGI),
Reporting in accordance with the guidelines of the restructuring and recovery process,
Establishing and forecasting of credit loss allowances and write-offs of loans of the respective portfolio handled in Workout.
Your Tasks
Leading the entire client relationship and process of full management or supervision for Real Estate Workout clients booked in Holding, EBOe and EGI
Assessment of the risk position of the assigned clients by analyzing their financial and liquidity situation as well as the collateral situation
Establishment and proposal of an adequate WO strategy in line with the financial resources of the clients and in accordance with the relevant policies
The objective is to optimize the risk position of Erste Group (highest possible recovery, reduction of NPL-volume and/or release provisions) by either restructuring the client (“going concern”), enforcing the assets (“gone concern”) or conducting a sale (Exit alternative“)
Independent cooperation and alignment with all relevant internal stakeholders such as Back office, colleagues from the Group entities, Sales, Underwriting, Tax, Legal, Compliance
Your Background
Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant banking sector experience (in Front Office, Underwriting and/or Workout)
Strong analytical thinking as well as experience with credit (re)structuring
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Familiarity with relevant banking products as well as legal basics
Fluent in English and German; an additional CEE language is a plus
Prior exposure to a multicultural environment is desirable (intercultural sensitivity)

The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 40.635;
