As an attractive employer, Erste Group offers interesting career opportunities in an international environment.- The unit is responsible for enabling banking business by providing legal support for Real Estate transactions with focus on Real Estate Lending, Real Estate Leasing, Real Estate Asset Management and Development (also covering transaction banking products and processes), and all related legal issues (Workout support, Construction Services etc.). The responsibilities also include legal sourcing, legal trouble shooting, dispute resolution and litigation.- Your Tasks- Leading, fostering, motivating and developing a team of appr. 11 people
- Budget and resource responsibility - planning annual budget and resources (PEREX and OPEX)
- Defining and implementing the strategy to achieve maximum customer and business partner satisfaction with the services of the unit
- Sharing in depth legal and real estate industry knowledge - being involved in complex financing and Real Estate transactions; advising and supporting Risk Management, Workout and Business in decision making processes
- Support the Real Estate legal know how transfer within Erste Group as a trainer- Your Background- Minimum 5 yeas of experience leading a legal team in the Real Estate Industry or banking sector with strong leadership skills and know how or working in a Senior Expert position
- Professional Management attitude and skills
- Expert knowledge in Real Estate Lending and Financing, Real Estate Leasing, Real Estate Asset Management and Project Development (Austria and CEE)
- Experience in Real Estate Work Out cases and insolvency law
- You possess excellent German skills and are fluent in English, CEE language skills are an advantage, but not a prerequisite
- Willingness to travel in the CEE region (on demand only, not on regular basis)- Our Offer- As Head of Real Estate Legal unit you are personally involved in the most sensible legal work and oversee legal work in key transactions, perform a steering role vis-à-vis the entire Group in Real Estate legal transactions, projects and litigation
