**About us**

LIVIN farms is an internationally oriented, fast-growing young company. We commercialise and develop products and technologies for the next generation of agriculture: insect farming. Our core product, Hive PRO Insect Factory is a turn-key solution for the food, feed and recycling industries. Seeded with Seedlings (baby larvae), Hive PROs turn industrial quantities of organic products into insect products that our customers market in the animal feed market.

**General Goal and Target of the Role**

Manage a team of Project Engineers that will develop international projects for the planning and construction of our Hive PRO insect fattening systems. is responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of the assigned projects. plan, schedule, predict, and manage all the technical tasks of the assigned project to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality from start to finish, delivering on time results.

**Key Activities**
- Process engineering strategizing and planning and concept development for industrial plants
- Manage, develop and scale a team of Engineers
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned projects
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, Quality assurance and control policies (QA/QC), performance standards and specifications
- Interact daily with the clients (internal/external) to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
- Perform overall quality control of the work related to the assigned project/s (budget, schedule, plans, contractors/project members performance) and report regularly on project status
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
- Participate in assembly supervision and system commissioning
- Supervise the selected suppliers regarding customer specifications and costs.
- Organize the interfaces during plant construction or plant conversion
- Create safety considerations and risk analyses
- Process official submissions
- Execute and coordinate multidisciplinary feasibility studies
- Manage coordination and negotiations with suppliers and customers

**Requirements**:

- BS degree in Engineering (or higher) or relevant field (engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry)
- Proven working experience as a Engineering Manager or related field (+4 years)
- Experience in development, planning, implementation and commissioning of industrial plants.
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects and teams
- Project management and Leadership skills.
- Autonomy by working in Customer
- and quality-oriented projects, not only technically but also organizationally.
- Project Management tools
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Fluent english. German is a big plus

Mandatory information in Austria: The Minimum gross-salary for this position is EUR 4200/month.

We’re willing to overpay, depending on your professional work experience and qualification.
