Purchasing Strategic Expert

Semperit is an internationally-oriented group that develops, produces and sells highly specialised rubber products. Our products range from hydraulic and industrial hoses (**Semperflex**), conveyor belts (**Sempertrans**), moulded parts such as handrails (**Semperform**), and industrial profiles (**Semperseal**) through to examination, protective and surgical gloves (**Sempermed**). With our quality products, we have been well positioned for almost 200 years and have distributions in more than 100 countries.

Join our team as a motivated and experienced Purchasing Strategic Expert. We value a supportive leadership approach that focuses on employee development, team dynamics, and a modern work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare contracts and SAP PO's for indirect materials, including market research, supplier selection, negotiation, documentation, and simple contract creation.
- Ensure high-quality purchase requisitions in collaboration with various departments in Vienna.
- Act as a liaison between service providers and internal customers.
- Participate in the testing and implementation of procurement processes.
- Provide advice on process flows, internal rules, and standards.

**Requirements**:
2-3 years of relevant professional experience and understanding of commercial and procurement processes and topics.
- Proficiency in relevant IT systems such as SAP MM and MS Office.
- Fluent in both English and German (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of additional languages, especially Eastern, is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and implementation skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

Location: Join us at our brand-new head office (QBC) at the central railway station (Hauptbahnhof).

Gross monthly salary: Starting from EUR 4,500 (full-time) - higher rates dependent on professional qualifications and experience.
