Purchasing Specialist

As a Purchasing Specialist, you will handle the company's project's procurement activities, including the development of procurement strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, and coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs.
**Your Tasks**:
- Developing and implementing purchasing global strategies.
- Business Unit counterpart for project purchasing needs.
- Establish Business Units that need to research or support with identification of potential suppliers.
- Based on BU needs define and negotiate contractual terms and conditions, prices, timelines, etc.
- Improving procurement process quality by collaborating with other stakeholders such as Engineering, Compliance, HR, Finance, and legal.
- Managing supplier panels and relationships, including regular monitoring of service performance, claim/complaint handling, and contract renewals/terminations
- Obtaining benefits such as reduced prices or commercial rebates.
- Compliance adherence by maintaining suppliers’ database, purchase records, and related documentation.
**Your Profile**:
- Software Engineering background to be able to understand engineering project needs.
- Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with different partners and stakeholders.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, organized and detail oriented.
- Team player.
