The **Complexity Science Hub Vienna** is a young research institution dedicated to gaining a deeper quantitative and predictive understanding of complex systems. **NETWORK & SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR**
**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
- Responsibility for the operational administration and further development of the LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi
- Ensure a continuous operation of the network infrastructure and actively assist in troubleshooting
- Systems security maintenance and management of IT security issues

**PROFILE**
- Education with a focus on IT or comparable qualifications is desirable
- Experience in Linux system administration, network administration, and systems security
- Open-source affinity and extensive Linux skills; knowledge of Windows and macOS
- Experience with projects/technologies such as o OPNsense o OpenVPN o Wireguard o Active Directory/LDAP
- Hands-on mentality and ability to work independently
- Very good English and good German skills.

**WE OFFER**
