Transaction Banking is responsible for product sales and sales execution for Trade Finance for Erste Group Bank AG, Erste Bank der Österreichischen Sparkassen, Tiroler Sparkasse, Salzburger Sparkasse, Kärntner Sparkasse and selectively other local Sparkassen in Austria.

Your Tasks
Advise corporate clients on guarantees (e.g. wording, guarantee type, jurisdiction, compliance)
Conduct the required checks (e.g. sanctions, compliance, authorization, cover)
Direct operative contact with clients on the trade finance instruments to be issued
You work in close alignment with trade finance product sales, trade finance operations and account managers
Responsibility for the day-to-day execution of (foreign) guarantees, including all related operative tasks till the issuing of the instrument
Your Background
At least 2 years of experience in a comparable function, preferably in commercial banking or within a trade finance department of a corporation
A sound business/commercial education
You are familiar with different types of guarantees, as well as with the URDG
You are ideally familiar with indirect guarantees as well as with the German “Bürgschaft” (no prerequisite)
MS-Office user skills
Open minded to digitalization in Trade Finance
You are a motivated team player who is interested to grow within a team of specialists
Business fluent in German and English

The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 35.365;
